I know this isnt dod thats the problem here. But, when i go to join a server on cs 1.6 it shows the loading box for a few seconds then goes back to the server list. I have deleted clientregistery.blob but that doesnt prevail

go to the game propertys in steam and verify the game cache . sounds like a version mismatch or something , may have been a dodgy update .
