Day of Defeat? SIF?

Is it just me or has DODS become less fun since valve has been more recently updating? I find these days that the game is losing it simply because there are either too many noob players, or bastards with hacks. The lack of a new zealand ladder really makes any sort of competition impossible as most of our players experience large pings.

So tell me what you think? Whats happened to the game? Am i the only one who doesn't find it as appealing as i used to?

but i agree with the hacks ! im seeing much more cheats way too often now, and it makes me want to sing a song!

personally i haven't seen that many hacks, (very few in my whole time that i would even bother demoing ) usely just people using Grey area things , dif scopes or one of the gamma correcting programs to make snap shots with the sniper easier , but in the end nothing you can do about it , and big deal

as for noobs , we have a simple fix for that "USE OUR OWN SERVER" that way you can filter out the dick heads ,because anyone that would be pissing you off to the point of actually pissing you off (were all grown up's ) is most likely doing something wrong and can be told off for it or kicked ,
(eg a guy that spent the whole 50min round on kalt the other night blocking the axis short cut on the right as you leave spawn )

i still love dod , but im also playing Heroes of might and magic 5 , scarface , some Nintendo emulators , the shrine maiden games , COH whenever i get the iso's off a m8 , trying to work out what console im going to get so my m8s can get the others and we can swap , basically a bit of variety dod pisses you off play something else for a bit , playing like crap, try another game , you should also set up a social ladder for NZ dod on skanky custom maps larger numbers , fun maps , worth a try

Do not go around camping and being a smart ass. they will look at the tag and go omg that clan is rude and they camp, and they do not. u claim that i was spawn camping i believe and for all i know i may well have been but the map was that aim_rifle thing and if your team does not spawn camp then the other team does. i did however stop doing it after you told me so but i was never told any rules about SDM's never spawn camping? I dont want to start anything unnessesarily so im soz if it got u annoyed or watever.

you do not spawn camp on any map. the objective is to capture the flag in the middle if you did not know, not to cross and camp spawn. so yeah and when people ask you to stop but you keep going, well it is frustrating. like i said show a little respect then everything will be ok.
