| im having trouble with my pc. when i start it up its fine but when ever i open an aplication it starts to make a humming noise it goes for a second stops for a second then starts for a second and keeps going. so i stoped it went and got a new fan spent an hour installing it and started it up again only to find that it didnt fix it so i was wondering if any of you ummm... computer nerds new what was wrong with it. so if you know can you please reply soon because its realy starting to fucking piss me off!!!!! | |

| if your fans fucking u off u could open up your case , its probibly gettin warm in there so its startin up. mine fucking noisy all closed up. open styles is cool, except when u put ur foot in there. | |

| i believe your problem is the AMD "cool and quiet" technology, its a little program that changes your fan speed depending on the load/heat , you will notice it the most when you boot up , and if your temperature diode is starting to play up.. see if you can disable this feature in your bios settings
*if you have a P4 chip , have a look and see if they have a similar feature | |

| ok after errr extensive research (my dad told me lol) the fan just has a bit of a clog up in it and i need to pull it out and blow tha dust of so caes closed and thnx for replying guys even though it didnt help thanx any way lol | |

| Hmm when i first bought my computer it would work fine for an hour or so, then just randomly turn off. The problem kept getting worse so i called up the help line and they told me to format my hard drive. I lost heaps of shit, and this didnt stop the problem. So they sent in a tech to replace my hard drive. Didnt work. Replaced my mother board. Still fucked up. In the end turned out some mother fucker had installed my fan backwards so it was in fact sucking the air out of the machine as opposed to back in. MOTHER FUCKER! | |
