Resolution.

Well...i set my resolution for DoDs too high and now it just comes up with attention out of range H: 74.9KHz V: 74.9Hz so i tryed deleteing it off my comp and re-installing it, but it hasent seemed to work, comes up with the same thing, i cant see the background to go into options and change it back, its just Blue with that messgae on it, anyhelp would be good

are you useing a program that force's the refresh rate \?. i think ati tools , or those kind of programs have a toggle that can do that , sounds like its trying to run at 75 Hertz and your monitor cant run that res at that refresh rate , check any overclocking programs you are running for your video card to see if they have this toggle (if you are running one ) , and either disable it so it auto ajust's or set it to 60Htz .

Or you could have a look on the dod forums (steam ones too) for the location of the cfg file that has the res settings in it (i had a quick look in the dod folders but came up with nill) . in that case you can edit the file and set it back to a small res like 800*600
